RTI Filing

This act allows citizens to request information from public authorities about their functioning, decisions, and actions. The RTI Act mandates transparency and accountability in government institutions by giving citizens the right to access information held by public authorities. Citizens can file RTI applications to seek information on a wide range of topics, including government policies, decisions, expenditures, and more. The process typically involves submitting a formal written application to the relevant public authority, specifying the information sought and paying a nominal fee as prescribed by the law.
